Eric Seed is the Founder and Principal of Haus Alpenz, an importer, distributor and brand manager for a wide range of wines and spirits. Established in 2005, Haus Alpenz is recognized for reviving a number of historic and important classic drinks components such as Creme de Violette, Batavia Arrack, Allspice Dram, Chambery and Torino vermouth. For these efforts, Eric and his team have been three times James Beard Foundation semi-finalists for best Wine, Beer and Spirits Professionals.

Originally from Cleveland Ohio, Eric is a graduate of Kenyon College and the University of Chicago, and today resides with his family in Edina Minnesota.
