Smokey - and smoked - drinks are smolderingly hot at the moment, but how does smoke get into a spirit and once there what happens to it? What are the right (and wrong) ways to smoke a drink? Here's a chance to dive headfirst into the peat bogs of Scotland and see how place impacts on flavour. Dave Broom will take you through smoke in food and drink from wood to nettle to sheep dung, look in-depth into the weird world of peat, you'll taste rare smoky single malts and other smoked spirits, while Ryan Cheti will show you how to use smoky ingredients and the different possibilities of the smokes which can be added in the bar. It's a class in which you need to inhale.
